Our animal hospital has the ability to address a wide variety of concerns and issues for your pet. We have three exam rooms to give you room and minimize crowding among unfamiliar animals. In-house laboratory testing, including blood chemistry, electrolyte determination, thyroid testing, and cell counting ability allows us to provide point-of-care diagnostics. Modern gas anesthesia and dedicated full-size surgery suite provides the best environment for a safe surgical experience. Dental services are provided by a full complement of dental equipment. Other specific services available include:

• Nursing care provided by licensed veterinary technicians
• Routine examinations and vaccinations
• Elective ovariohysterectomy (spay) and neutering for dogs and cats, as well as declawing of cats
• Dental care and cleaning
• Advanced laboratory testing available through both on-site and off-site laboratory
• Elective and non-elective soft tissue surgeries of the skin, liver, urinary bladder, gastrointestinal tract, and other abdominal organs

After normal business hours the clients at Sun Prairie Pet Clinic continue to have access to the experience and compassion of our staff.  Phone calls after hours are taken by our staff to give you rapid access to the information and advice you need to help your pet in the best manner.  Many after hour medical problems are addressed by Dr. Vitale on the phone immediately; if necessary, Dr. Vitale is frequently available to meet our clients a the Clinic for a full medical examination and treatment.  In situations where more advanced care is required, Dr. Vitale can direct you to the facilities in the Madison area that are best suited to help you in an emergency situation.
