Client Care Representative

Having a cheery and chatty personality can feel like an under-valued or unwanted trait, but it’s quality we value. A smiling face is important in the world of the Client Care Representative. Since the Client Care Representative is the first point of contact, they must be incredibly organized and friendly, this role is so much more than picking up the phones. Client Care Representatives need to have an ear to the ground and be aware of everything that’s going in the practice, from preparing for the clients and patients who are visiting the practice for appointments and surgeries to educating callers on the phone about our services and products. Being confident is critical to the role of the Client Care Representative.

Responsibilities include: greeting clients and patients and updating information in computer-based medical records; answering phones and addressing client needs while communicating information regarding our policies, procedures, products, and procedures; scheduling medical appointments and surgeries based on patient needs and staffing; obtaining payment for patient invoices.

Patient Care Assistant

Patient Care Assistants provide support for the Veterinarians and Certified Veterinary Technicians as they provide care for our patients. Patient management during procedures ranging from vaccine administration to nail trims to induction of anesthesia is their primary function, Additionally, Patient Care Assistants are responsible for proper feeding and care of all hospitalized or boarded animals, including cleanliness of cages, runs and ward areas.

Responsibilities include: providing compassionate care for our patients; admitting and properly identifying patients for care at the Clinic; feeding patients at the direction of the Veterinarians; collection of samples from patients as needed by the veterinarians; observation of patients for changes in condition; assist the Veterinarians or Certified Veterinary Technician in administering medications to patients; general maintenance of the Clinic.

Certified Veterinary Technican

The Certified Veterinary Technician is the doctor’s primary medical support person. They ensure doctors are achieving greater efficiency by relieving them of any technical work and administrative detail. They have a very significant role in communicating with clients about their pets as well as performing medical and technical tasks that doesn’t require a veterinary license

Responsibilities include: obtaining medical history on patients from clients; assist with examinations and updating medical records; assist the Veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures; delivery of medications via oral, injectable, or topical routes as directed by the Veterinarians; running clinical testing of blood, urine, and stool samples as needed; acquisition of radiographs on patients; admission and discharge of patients from the Clinic based on orders from the Veterinarian; strong knowledge of dosing and administration of medications both to the patient and dispensed to the clients for administration to the patient at home.
